What this is

Plus (watching your places, alerts the moment something rises, the full map and trends) is free for 14 days with no card, then £29.99/year or £4.99/month. See pricing for the details.

Not medical advice. We show what’s going around, not whether to keep a child home, exclusion periods, symptoms, or treatment. For health questions, speak to your GP, pharmacist, or NHS 111. Information here is community-reported and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Who it’s for

Accounts are for adults: parents and carers. The data is about children’s illnesses, but it’s stored anonymously and only at area level, so no child is ever identified.

You’re responsible for your account. We sign you in with a magic link sent to your email, so keep that inbox safe. Anyone with the link can get in.

Reporting honestly

Please only report illnesses you genuinely believe are going round. To keep the picture honest we limit how many reports you can send (about 12 a day) and we de-duplicate repeats. We may remove abusive activity.

Your subscription

The 14-day trial starts at signup and needs no card.
To keep Plus after that, it’s £29.99/year or £4.99/month, billed through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Unless you cancel, Plus renews automatically, monthly or yearly to match the plan you chose, and we charge the card on file through Stripe on each renewal date.
We may change the price in future, but we’ll give you notice first.

Refunds and changing your mind

The trial takes no card, so nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe. No surprise bill when it ends.
If you subscribe and change your mind within 14 days, email us and we’ll refund you in full. That covers the annual plan too: the first 14 days of the year you’ve paid for.
After that you can cancel anytime from your account and keep Plus until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund part-used time beyond the 14 days, but you won’t lose access you’ve already paid for.
This doesn’t affect your legal rights.

Where the data comes from

Local readouts come from parents’ reports. The national “Across England” and “Across Scotland” rows come from UK Health Security Agency and Public Health Scotland data, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Acceptable use

Don’t try to de-anonymise the data, scrape the service, or use automated access to identify or target any family. The data is deliberately coarse to make that difficult. Please don’t try to work around it.

Suspending or closing accounts

If you break these terms, for example by trying to de-anonymise the data, scraping the service, or abusing reporting, we may suspend or close your account. Where it’s fair to, we’ll warn you first. For a serious or deliberate breach we may close it straight away and without a refund.

You can close your account whenever you like by emailing us.

Availability

The service is provided “as is”. We try hard to keep it up and working, but we can’t promise zero downtime or that the picture is ever complete.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for decisions you make based on community-reported information. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer, and we don’t try to limit any liability the law won’t let us limit.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date above.
